Mahatma Gandhi ShikshakPrashikshanMahavidyalaya is a new feather added to flying wing of “Muktiniketan” a reputed NGO having its Central Office at Katoria in the district of Banka (Bihar). Since the emergence of Muktiniketan years back on 21st January 1985, it has identified itself with the rural problems, ignorance and social unawareness of the people, agricultural and economic backwardness and illiteracy of the mass. In the reply to these challenging conditions it has been rendering relentless and inconsistent services to upgrade and uplift the rural position whereby the rural Indian can be at its best and soul residing therein is purged of its dust and dirt. The living and guiding spirit behind such multidimensional initiatives and optimistic & result.

- Mahatma Gandhi ShikshakPrashikshanMahavidyalaya is founded by late Aniruddha Prasad Singh, a wide visionary thoughts , whose one of the most cherished dream was to open a teacher training college in one of most remote location of katoria in Banka district of Bihar . His thoughts to provide the well experience faculties member and infra structure to train prospective leaders and teachers., who further serve for nation building . He was committed to provide the quality education to students who aspire to attain knowledge, professional skill and qualification in education. He believe that teaching is about building character and enriching the young minds . The college family members salutes his vision and promises to fulfill his dream with utmost sincerity and honesty with new national educational policy 2020.

The college of education was established in 2008. We have a devoted team of learned and qualified faculty members, modern laboratories, rich library, building & other essential infrastructure which helps in making a healthy environment, fulfill your dream and to make ready to face future competition and other problems of life. The management is ready to welcome you and your parent at lush green sprawling campus of our college.
